Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™
in Alpharetta, GA

Early tooth decay doesn't always cause pain or obvious symptoms, but small areas of enamel damage can gradually become larger cavities if left untreated. At Alpharetta Dental Care, we offer Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™ as a gentle, drill-free option for certain early-stage cavities and white spot lesions.

What Is Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™?

Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™ is an in-office treatment designed to address early tooth decay before a traditional filling may be necessary. It uses fluoride along with minerals naturally found in your saliva to support the formation of new enamel crystals within the damaged area.

Unlike standard fluoride treatments that primarily work on the outer surface of the tooth, Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™ is designed to work throughout the depth of certain early lesions. The treatment is applied directly to the affected tooth and can typically be completed during the same appointment.

Because it is non-invasive, Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™ doesn’t require drilling, injections, or traditional filling material. It is intended for early-stage decay only. A tooth with a larger or fully formed cavity may still require a conventional filling or another restorative treatment.

How It Works and What to Expect

The appointment takes about ten minutes for us to clean and prepare the surface of the tooth, then apply the Curodont solution. Because nothing is drilled away, you won’t need anesthetic, and there’s no numbness or recovery. You can eat and drink normally as soon as you leave.

The Curodont solution contains a peptide that soaks into the softened enamel and forms a microscopic framework inside the weak spot. Over the following weeks and months, the scaffold attracts calcium and phosphate from your own saliva, and natural enamel rebuilds around it, from the inside out.

At your next visit, we’ll recheck the area to see how it’s responding. Some spots may benefit from a second application.

Benefits of Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™

Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™ may offer several benefits for eligible patients, including:

  • Drill-free treatment for certain early cavities
  • No local anesthetic or dental injections
  • Helps preserve more of your natural tooth structure
  • Supports the strengthening and repair of weakened enamel
  • Can address some white spot lesions
  • Suitable for multiple tooth surfaces
  • Quick application that may take only a few minutes
  • No staining and no lingering taste
  • May be appropriate for children and adults under dental supervision

Treating early decay can help prevent the affected area from progressing to a larger cavity. It may also help you avoid more invasive treatment in the future. Results vary from patient to patient, and ongoing brushing, flossing, fluoride use, and regular dental visits remain important.

Is Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™ Right for You?

Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™ may be a good option if you have:

  • An early-stage cavity identified during an examination or on an X-ray
  • White spot lesions caused by mineral loss
  • Early enamel damage around orthodontic brackets
  • Areas of tooth decay that have not yet formed a significant hole
  • A desire to explore minimally invasive dental treatment

During your visit, the team at Alpharetta Dental Care will examine your teeth and evaluate the location and depth of any decay. We may use dental X-rays or other diagnostic tools to determine whether Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™ is appropriate.

This treatment cannot replace a filling when a cavity has already caused significant structural damage or visible cavitation. If Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus™ isn’t the right choice, we’ll explain your options and recommend the treatment that best supports your oral health.
