  • Why do I need a dental exam?

Dental exams help to identify and treat minor issues with your teeth and gums before they turn into potentially painful and costly problems. Regular visits to the dentist help catch problems early, such as cavities or gum disease. Dental exams support not only the health of your mouth, but your overall health as well!

  • How often do I need to have my teeth cleaned?

You should get your teeth checked and cleaned every 6 months.

  • What can I expect at my dental checkup?

During a dental checkup, a dental professional will thoroughly examine your teeth, gums, and mouth to check for cavities, gum disease, and other concerns. A dental hygienist will clean your teeth to remove plaque and tartar, helping prevent decay and gum problems. If necessary, we'll take X-rays to detect issues that aren’t visible during an examination. Lastly, we’ll offer personalized advice on oral hygiene and treatment recommendations, ensuring early detection and promoting your dental health.
